Tulips: March 30th -
Hoping the horrid harsh winds of March will cease soon and allow the tulips to flower and shine without damage.
The old breeder variety of 1942 Katherine Truxton and an unknown red (found in the garden here by the Dutch breeder Eric Breed and lost from cultivation in Holland) are well up. The bronze peony buds and leaves, together with lime euphorbias provide a lovely ground cover to the tulip stems.
